Satan and Lucifer make up plan B in case Lucifer gets in over his head again.

Meantime the other shepherds have all gotten to the stable and are gathered around making “ooh” and “ahhhh” and similar “adoring the baby” noises…

Lucifer and Michael go at it again, until Michael backs Lucifer off and says something to the effect of “Look at me. Don’t you know who I am? Do you really want to do this?”…

Lucifer catches on that he’s fighting Michael the Archangel and is WAY out of his league, so he backs away and drops his sword…

Michael drags Lucifer away in chains…

Lucifer calls in reinforcements as Michael displays her trophy. They don’t help.

Michael hands Lucifer his sword and casually sends him back to hell, then goes back to helping with the baby.

Love this post, and the photos are gorgeous. Sorry you didn’t get the Pastorela, of course. The title reminds me of a Christmas carol I learned in high school, and that a classmate and I brought to our choir practice. Pretty sure that’s one of the songs the shepherds were singing “on the road” during the play, but they weren’t mic’ed and they weren’t loud so it was difficult to hear. I do remember hearing it a long long LONG time ago in Spanish class in high school, and it was lovely as long as I only pretended to sing along…. 😉
